Guy’s Night Out
So much of the wedding planning process revolves around the bride, but we know many grooms are equally invested in their wedding day and perhaps, a little more so, in their bachelor party. We partnered with Elijah Craig Bourbon, 2017’s Whisky of the Year according to Whisky Advocate, to bring you inspirational images that reveal a rugged and refined approach to a gentleman’s night out before the big day.
We’ve all heard that saying, “What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas”. Well, we sure are glad this party was held at Supper Southern Morsels in Norfolk, VA because it’s too good not to share! Historically, gentleman’s party is billed more as a civilized night of good food, great friends, a cigar (or two) and many toasts to the bride’s health.
Rugged and Refined
As with the wedding, the stationery suite sets the tone for an event. Kristin Shockley of Lustre Theory designed the invitations and wood burned menu’s with loads of texture and seeping with rugged masculinity. The warm coppery hues in calligraphy, the envelope liner and wax seal are perfect for inviting the guys out to celebrate. We especially love the custom leather envelope!
Special thanks to Waterford Event Rentals, Rusty Cottage and Fig Decor for partnering with us to create this masculine tablescape. Rich velvety linens, galvanized tin chargers, pheasant feathers, magnolia leaves, and copper lanterns make for a quintessential Southern guys night out.
Gifts for the Groomsmen
No party is complete without gifts for the groomsmen. We can’t think of a better way to send the guys off in style than a smattering Elijah Craig swag. We think the cufflinks add a little something special to their dapper duds!
